"Percussion is the art of rhythm" - Director Duey Wright

 Director Duey Wright A graduate of Spencer Middle School and Belmont High School, Ms. Duey Wright attended the University of Victoria to earn her Bachelor of Arts Degrees in both music and teaching. She also studied conducting under Dr. Gerald King, and the art of Percussion under world-renowned Percussionist Salvador Ferreras.

Duey began teaching a single Percussion class in 1994, with an initial attendance of just eight students.

Having previously taught music at St. Margaret's School for Girls, Duey teaches Spencer students concert band, stage band, concert choir, musical theatre, multiple Percussion Ensembles and, of course, is the director of Organized Khaos.

If that weren't enough, Duey was nominated in the Education, Training & Development category for the Women of Distinction Awards in 2004!
