Organized Khaos welcomes you to WeCanBeatIt.ca
No household junk is safe now that the Organized Khaos Percussion Ensemble is here.
This dynamic group of young performers can elicit rhythm from car parts, recycling bins, ladders, basketballs, suitcases, chairs, coffee cans, old street signs, pots and pans . . . yes, even the kitchen sink.
Proudly created and led by Director Duey Wright, the ensemble has enjoyed a great number of successes since its inception in 1994.
Since 2000, we're proud to have raised more than $32,000 for local children and families affected by leukemia with our We Can Beat It fundraising concerts.
We were honoured to perform, by invitation, at Disneyland, shortly after the premiere of We Can Beat It and, closer to home, we’ve appeared at the ICA Folkfest, the Luminara Community Lantern Festival, Esquimalt's Buccaneer Days Parade, the Times-Colonist 10K, Guiding and Scouting’s Hike for Hunger, many Cops for Cancer wrapup performances, and been featured on CH TV's Go! Magazine, A-Channel Mornings, and Shaw TV's The Daily!
We're proud to have raised so much money towards helping find a cure, and are always looking forward to our next opportunity to perform! Find out when that might be in our Gigs area!
